This is from a letter that I wrote to Colette's management after the sale of my property:

I wanted to let you know, that Colette Stallworth has been a blessing for me and my family. I have owned the Mulberry St residence for nearly 20 years as a rental property. During that time, spanning almost 2 decades, as an owner and property manager there were many highs (well, mediums) and lows, though unfortunately many more lows than highs. Over the last 5 years or so, the property became an extraordinary burden on me and my family, as a constant drain on finances as well as my time and mental health. Working in MD, living in OH, and owning a rental property in PA with a repeating cycle of tenants who were continually late or paid no rent, who significantly damaged the property, while in an old and aging house requiring constant repair, became too much to bare.

When I reached out to your agency in Jan of 2015, I was beyond desperate to off-load the house. After the original realtor assignment did not work out, you assigned us Colette in Sept of 2015. I was skeptical after the previous experience, but my desperation overruled.

For the past 2 years, Colette has gone well beyond any expectation I, nor anyone, could have ever have had for a realtor. She was willing and did whatever it took, acting not just as my realtor, but often as a (pro-bono) property manager, advisor, and friend to see that my property was either sold, or occupied with a paying tenant. I've lost track with how many iterations of sales agreements, lease agreements, financial consultations, and strategic discussions we've had over the past 2 years, requiring countless hours of dedicated work and availability, seemingly 7 days a week. My wife would often tell me that she did not understand why Colette would do so much for us, as it was so extraordinary. This past Friday, Colette represented me and my interests at the closing table (while I was in OH spending time with my family), and was able to secure the sale of my property.

Honestly, it hasn't sunk in yet, and maybe that's due to the last minute crisis that we were dealing with up through the actual closing, but as I woke up this morning and started to consider the fact that Mulberry, a 20yr nightmare that has come to an end, and realizing how much more time and energy I will now have to invest in my other responsibilities, to include my family, I became overcome with gratitude and emotion.

I hope that one day I will be able to meet Colette and hug her. I will not be able to articulate in words how much she has helped me and my family, but I can tell you this. I am convinced, without any doubt, that Colette, and only Colette, could have and would have done what she did for us. Her dedication, persistence, ownership, and loyalty to her work is astonishing, and quite frankly inspirational, and certainly unique in this era. I thank you for steering us to Colette. That decision introduced me to someone that I will forever appreciate and be grateful to have had in my life.
